The Next Academic Library Brown Bag: Strategies for Dealing with a Changing Information Landscape

WiLS staff
This event was held on May 21st, 2025.

Let’s continue the conversation!

Libraries have long relied on trustworthy, free information available online from federal government agencies, including from the NIH, NLM, CDC, NSF, and others. As that landscape changes, libraries are looking for other sources of reliable and accessible information to share with students, faculty, and community patrons.

Following up on the previous brown bag in March, we invite you back to again join your academic library colleagues on Wednesday, May 21st at 12:00 pm CT, to discuss this challenge and share solutions with one another in a lunchtime webinar hosted by WiLS and facilitated by librarians Dawn Haggerty and Paige Barreto of Gateway Technical College and Jeff Brunner from WiLS. While this webinar will not be recorded, notes, resources, and strategies will be captured from the discussion and shared with registrants after the event.

Register to attend here, and feel free to reach out to Andi Coffin (acoffin@wils.org) if you have any questions.
