News-O-Matic

News-O-Matic is an interactive digital learning platform designed to engage K-8 students with nonfiction reading across the curriculum, including ELA, Science, and Social Studies. Every weekday, News-O-Matic creates five original, age-appropriate news articles - supporting diverse learners by delivering articles at five Lexile levels and in six languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, and Arabic). Along with a robust, searchable database of over 16,000 articles, all content is enriched with multimedia and standards-aligned student activities, as well as ready-to-use teacher tools. With News-O-Matic, students can think critically and curiously, improve their reading skills, and expand their global awareness.
