Want to help us help Wisconsin libraries and cultural organizations?
At WiLS, we believe libraries and cultural institutions make the world a better place, and we’re on a mission to help them do more with their time and money. We’re looking for a Financial and Operations Assistant to join our small-but-mighty team to keep our gears turning and our members smiling.
The WiLS Financial and Operations Assistant plays a key cross-functional role in supporting the financial, operational, and member service needs of WiLS, a small, mission-driven nonprofit organization. As part of a collaborative 13-person team, this position serves as a primary point of contact for members—primarily libraries and cultural organizations—while providing essential financial and administrative support. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to advancing the organization’s mission.
In this role, you’ll enjoy:
- A supportive work environment: You’ll have the independence to own your daily work and the flexibility of a remote environment, paired with a warm, collaborative team that always has your back.
- Work that matters: Your financial and operational savvy directly supports the organizations that strengthen Wisconsin communities every day.
- A values-centered culture: We’re a collaborative, mission-driven nonprofit that actually lives our values (and we have a lot of fun doing it).
Location: Madison, WI and Remote
Reports To: Director of Finance / Executive Director
Status: Full-time / Non-Exempt
Salary range: $50,000 – $55,000
